Baobab
We created the Baobab School so that anyone who wants to do creative work, such as wooden sculptures, can do it. At the Baobab School is attended by people of different ages and from different backgrounds. Here's what they say: (Here will be kind of funny and lite text about why we opened the Baobab school)

Lucy ( her daughter tells)
In the studio for a year, 3 works: Cat, Elephant and Bunny, mother is a specialist in bunnies.
Born in 1939, in Kharkov. During the WWII, she lived with relatives in the village, her mother went missing, her father fought at the front.
After the War, she continued to live in Kharkov, worked as a designer at a closed enterprise, and built space rockets and shuttles.
He also loves to sing and his garden, which remains in Kharkov.
Two children - the eldest son lives in Moscow, I live in Israel.
Boris
Born in 1950 Lived in Russia for 50 years. Worked for the last 17 years at a city newspaper. In 2000, he left for Israel, where both daughters already lived, having left after graduating from school under Sokhnut programs. Until the age of 70 he worked, mainly in warehouses.
In the fall of 2021, I learned about the start of Sasha Galitsky’s wood carving studio.
I am very glad that retirement has opened up a “third wind”, a creative one.
Polina (her daughter tells)
Mom was born in 1937 in the city of Balta, Odessa region. War, evacuation. Grandfather went through the entire war and died in April 1945. Worked from the age of 16, studied by correspondence as a chemical technologist. I went to work on a construction site - as a foreman, then as a foreman. She built the ninth blast furnace of the Krivoy Rog Metallurgical Plant (the largest in Europe).
In Israel since 2000. All relatives and friends, old and new friends are here. And the state that takes care of it.
